Funeral for Byron White Jr., 84, of Moulton will be Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. R.C. Borden officiating.
Burial will be in Landersville Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. White, who died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at Lawrence Medical Center, was born June 6, 1924, in Lawrence County to Byron White Sr. and Ora Roberts White. He was a retired land surveyor, farmer and draftsman. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gene White, and one granddaughter, Karen Posey.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Natalie Latham White; two sons, Don White of Landersville, and Mark White of Decatur; one daughter, Joyce Posey and husband, Naylon, of Landersville; grandchildren, Beth Willis and husband, Jerry, David White and wife, Cindy, Kim Posey, Matthew White and wife, Paige, and Natalie White; great-grandchildren, Daniel Woodard and fiancee, Tiffany, Hollie Woodard and Hannah White; three brothers, Billy White, Gay White and Teddy White, all of Moulton and two sisters, Virginia Johnson of Carrollton, and Gail Manly of Decatur.
Pallbearers will be David White, Matthew White, Daniel Woodard, Jerry Willis, Billy Wayne White and Kenny White.
