Francis X. Ryan, 73, of 811 W. 23rd St., died Sunday at Delaware Hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Ryan was a veteran of World War I and was self-employed. He never married.
He is survived by a sister, Miss Marie G. Ryan, and a brother, Charles A. Ryan, both of Wilmington.
Requiem Mass will be offered Thursday morning at 9:30 from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 10th and Madison Sts. Friends may call at the Mealey Funeral Home, 703 N. Broom St., tomorrow night.
