Montgomery - At the Kingston General Hospital on Thursday Dec 30 1943, Francis Hugh Montgomery, beloved brother of Minnie and Edith Montgomery, aged 81 years. Funeral will take place from his late residence, Wolfe Island at 11 o'clock Saturday morning to Christ church. Interment on Wolfe Island. Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to attend.

Funeral of Francis Hugh Montgomery, 82, of Wolfe Island, was held Jan 1, from his residence on Wolfe Island. Interment will take place in the spring. Service was conducted by Rev E Legrow.
Death occurred in the Kingston General Hospital on Dec 30.Born on Wolfe Island, son of Alice and John Keyes Montgomery, he spent his entire life on the farm they had settled in the year 1846. He was a member of the Church of England.
Surviving are his two sisters, Mary and Edith.
Pall-bearers were Richard Berry, James Berry, Frank Fawcett, RF Fawcett, William Irvine and Howard Tarrant.
