Son of Stephen Malachi Gulledge & Rebecca Huntley Gulledge. 43rd Regiment Company I North Carolina Infantry CSA. Enlisted as Corporal came out as Sergeant.

He was married a third time to Helen Huldah Curlee.

March 23 is burial date. Death date is March 22.

WADESBORO, April 1--This county recently lost one of its best citizens in the death of B. F. Gulledge, 90 years of age, who had long been one of the finest farmers in the county and a pioneer of agricultural development. Mr. Gulledge was a man of high sense of honor, and was sincerely esteemed by a wide circle of friends who admired
him for his sterling sense of character and rugged honesty. He is survived by his wife and a number of sons and daughters. He was buried at Bethel Methodist church, the interment being with Masonic honors, he having been a leading member of that order for many years.

Married first to Emaline Griggs on January 1, 1850 in Anson County, NC. Married Ellen Webb on June 10, 1883 in Anson County, NC. Married Huldah H. Curlee on January 18, 1888 in Union County, NC.
