Funeral services for Cheryl LeAnn JONES-NICHOLSON RAY, 38, of Sallisaw, were held at 10:30 a.m. Feb.19, 2002, at the Gore High School Gymnasium, with Revs. Tommy Noel, Tommy Hawkins and Cleatis Jones officiating. Burial was in Drake Stand Cemetery west of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born June 22, 1963, in Sallisaw, to Jerry JONES and Patsy (CALLAHAN) JONES. She died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, in Denver. Ms. RAY married Roy B. RAY III on Feb. 26, 1999, in Van Buren, Ark. Survivors include her husband, Roy of the home; one son, Jarrod; her parents, Jerry and Patsy JONES; one sister and brother-in-law, Marci and her husband, Jerry W.; one brother and sister-in-law, Delbert and his wife Calleen; four nieces; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
