age 86 of Tazewell went home to be with the Lord September 18, 2008.
She was a member of Caney Valley American Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her: husband, Ray Epperson;
son, Eddie Ray Epperson; parents, Crit Collins and Mossie Collins Harville; sister, Hazel Bolden; brothers, Arthur Collins and Lewis Collins.
She is survived by her sons, Dwayne and wife Judy Epperson, Reverend Jerry and wife Carolyn Epperson, Fred and wife Joyce Epperson, Rick and wife Melissa Epperson; daughters, Billie Jo and husband Eddie Bullen, Bennie Mae and husband Landon Lett;
special niece, Linda Hayes; special nephew, Frank Bolden;
11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 20, 2008 from 6 until 9 PM and Sunday, September 21, 2008 from 12 until 2 PM at Claiborne Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 2PM with Reverend Tommy Russell and Reverend Jerry Epperson officiating.
Music will be provided by Reverend Boyd Myers, Jerry, Carol, Mark, and Chasity Epperson.
Burial will follow in the Raven Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers: grandsons.

Aunt Doc was a second Momma to me. Her and her family lived close to us, and next to us. I grew up playing with my 1st cousins....and she always had time to talk or listen to a lil girl named Rita Faye. Arms wide open and a heart full of love.
