Born September 23rd, 1944, in Union Parish, LA, she was a daughter of the late Smith Thomas and Erma Henry Antley. Mrs. Cobb was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a long-time member of the Highland Baptist Church in West Monroe.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, CMSgt Charles Wayne Cobb, USAF (ret), in 2003.
Survivors include her son, Jim Cobb; her daughter and son-in-law, Kellie and Barry Justus; her sister, Bonnie Sue Terral and husband, Gene; her brother, Reggie Antley and wife, Joyce; granddaughter Jennifer Scallan and husband, Scott; 3 grandchildren, Brandon, Gregory, and Ashley Justus; and 3 great grandchildren, Caroline, Madison, and Alyssa Scallan.
Pallbearers are Rodney and Brad Terral, Scott Scallan, Marvin Cobb, Scott and Brent Moore. Honorary pallbearers are the deacons of Highland Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Monday evening, September 15th, 2008, from 5:00 to 8:00PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.
The family would like to thank Drs. Don Hammett and Ronald Koepke and their medical staff, the staff at Glenwood Regional Medical Center, Patient's Choice Hospice and United Home Care for their dedicated medical care and attention for Mrs. Cobb.
