Saenz, 68, died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug 14, 1900 Chihuahua, Mexico. Where he lived until 1917 when he moved to El Paso, Tex.
In 1927 he moved to Belle Fourche, where he married Dora Briones. They came to Rapid City in 1931 and Saenz worked in construction. He was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Survivors include his widow, three sons, Rueben and Joe of Rapid City; Robert of Riverton, Wyo; two daughters Mrs Kenneth (Marcie) Hansen, Rapid City, SD and Betty Saenz, Englewood, Colo; six-grandchildren and one brother and one sister.
