Mrs. Julia J. Ray

Mrs. Julia J. Ray, 75, wife of Walter H. Ray, 207 Glenwood street, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Elyria Memorial Hospital after a weeks illness.
Mrs. Ray was born in Poland August 18, 1874, and had lived in Elyria 38 years. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Howard E. and Sterling sr. both of Elyria; three daughters, Mrs. Paul Steger, Mrs. Leon Beard, and Mrs. Howard Sharr all of Elyria; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Winters of Berea and Mrs. Anna Haney of Elyria. Five grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. A son Walter E. Ray died in 1941.
Friends may call at the Wainwright funeral home where services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Henry King Shaw will officiate and burial will be made in Brookdale Cemetery.
