Born on July 14, 1927 in Bern, Bear Lake County, Idaho to Robert and Nellie Parker Schmid. Married Karl T. Gilgen on July 6, 1946 in Bern, Idaho. Member LDS Church. Devoted friend to all she knew. She had been employed at the Tooele Army Depot for the past 28 years. Survivors: Husband, son and daughter, Hoby K. West Valley City; Holly Kay Magna; stepsons, Larry D., Fountain Green; James, Sandy; one grandchild; 21 step-grandchildren; eight great-step-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Mrs. Anna L. Vigos, Robert, Mrs. Zenna M.
