Born on Jan. 12, 1919 in Panola County, she was the daughter of W.M. Horace and Edna Alice Farmer Spradley. Mrs. Barnett was a lifetime resident of the Deadwood Community and member of the New Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church in the Yarnell Community. She was married to Allen Lane Barnett who preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 1984.
Mrs. Barnett is survived by her three sons, Wayne Bagley and wife, Linda, of Carthage, William Henry Barnett and wife, Weda, of Deadwood, and Weldon Eugene Barnett of Elysian Fields; six grandchildren; eight [step?] grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; three nephews; one niece.
Serving as pallbearers were Lynn LaGrone, Garth LaGrone, Sherman Spradley, Little Sherman Spradley, Craig Wimberly and Bob McMillan.
