Wilda was born in Salina, OK, to James F and Emma Rogers. She was a Native
American, and cousin to Will Rogers. She graduated from Salina High School May
23, 1947.

She married Claude R Cheatham on Apr 14, 1948, in Guthrie. Her life
accomplishments include raising four children, homemaking, and gardening.

She loved to care for Eastern Bluebirds, and served the Oklahoma Wildlife
Conservation Department as a Wildlife Volunteer. She successfully raised many
bluebirds and received appreciation awards from OWCR. She served the OK
Christian College Women's Assn as the reporter, was a member of the Choctaw
Church of Christ, and was a volunteer at the Barnes school library.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, and 3 sisters. Her
survivors include her husband Claude R "Dude", 4 children, and 10 grandchildren.
