84, Dies In Austin

AUSTIN (AP) - Sterling O. Durst, 84, a former Texas Ranger, died Thursday.

Durst had been a peace officer most of his life and resided in Junction. He retired in 1951.

Survivors include a brother, Leon Durst of Galveston and two sisters, Austin Durst and Mrs. Norma Farmer of Junction.
