Died, Friday evening, Nov. 6, 1908, at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. E. L. Chapin, West Monroe, Springfield, Joseph Leber, aged 90 years. Deceased was born in Baden, Germany, Sept. 26, 1818, and came to America in 1932 and has lived in this city since 1848. Before retiring from active life Mr. Leber was a blacksmith and was employed by the Chicago & Alton railroad.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph A. Leber and William E. Leber, and two daughters, Miss Anna Leber and Mrs. E. L. Chapin, all of this city; three brothers, Edward Leber of this city, Charles Leber of Ferguson, Mo., and Alexander Leber of Missouri.

The funeral will be held from the residence.
