The funeral for Glen Harold Tyler, 66, of Athens will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Spry Funeral Home with Ray Duvall officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Mr. Tyler died Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Tyler was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Teledyne Wah Chang Huntsville.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Russ Tyler of Athens; two sons, Joey Glen Tyler and Ricky Harold Tyler, both of Ardmore, AL; one daughter, Donna Jean Tyler Meek of Lewisburg, TN; one stepdaughter, Melissa Kay Dillon of Athens; two stepsons, Mark Edward Dillon of Samson, AL, and Bill Matthews Poteete of Athens; a sister, Sherry Royster of Elkmont; two brothers, Allen Tyler of Athens and Larry Tyler of Decatur; six grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and five step-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Tyler was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Wade Tyler and his parents, Paul and Frances Tyler.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
