NEWTON Leo M., of OKC, died Saturday morning after a long illness with cancer. He was born April 22, 1920 at Cordel, OK. Leo served in WWII Air Force and was a radio/electonics teacher.

Leo was retired from IBM after 27 years of service. After retirement he volunteered his time building cabinets for several local charities, one of which is the Pantry.

In addition to his children, L. Mark Newton and Sandi E. Newton, Leo is survived by 2 sisters, Norma Walker of OKC and Ruby Thiessen of Eakley, OK; two brothers, A.J. Newton of OR and Jesse Newton of Texas
