Hiram Crook, of Liberty township, died Thursday morning of last week of pneumonia and Bright's disease, after an illness of several weeks. He was 70 years of age and was born in Laporte county, coming to Porter county sixty years ago. He leaves a wife. Funeral was held from his late home Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. Claude E. Hill, of Valparaiso, officiating, and burial in the Kimball Cemetery.
