Carolyn Elizabeth Hogan Bagwell, 59, of 422 Woodville Road, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2001.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Harmon Reid and Rena Bell Davis Bagwell. She was employed by W.W. Grainger and was a member of Washington Baptist Church, where she belonged to the WMU, the Emma Campbell Mission Group and the Adult III Couples Sunday School Class.

Surviving are her husband, John Earl Bagwell of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Jack Harrison and Colleen Hogan of Asheville; and sisters, Lillie Mae King and Shirley Boyce of Pelzer, and Cora Gunnells of Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert (Bobby) Hogan.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Washington Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Stan Candler and the Rev. James Ellenburg. Burial will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.

The family would like to thank family members, friends and neighbors for their love and support during her illness and death.
