Mrs. Paul Potts Dies Tuesday Following Long Illness
Mrs. Mary Lorene Potts, wife of Paul Potts, passed away Tuesday evening at her home in Daviess county, following an illness of several months.
Mrs. Potts, the former Mary Lorene Catron, daughter of Mary Elizabeth and Robert Catron, was born in Kentucky in 1905. She attended the Breckenridge school and the Chillicothe Business College.
She is survived by her husband and five children, Bernard, Leonard, Jack, Patricia and Susanne of the home; her parents, Mrms. Robert Catron of Hamilton; three brothers, John Catron, Hamilton, Ace Catron and Arthur Catron of Breckenridge; two sisters, Mrs. Howard Thomas, Shawnee, Kansas; and Mrs. Harry Benson of Springfield.
The Rosary was said at the Sacred Heart Church in Hamilton Wednesday night at 7:30 and at the home at 9:00 o’clock. The funeral service was held this morning at 10 o’clock at the Sacred Heart Church, conducted by Rev. John C. Mahoney. Interment was made in Highland Cemetery.
