WAPLES--In Wilmington Medical Center, Bennie Waples, of 27 Rose Lane, Rosegate, New Castle, Del. Husband of European Waples. Father of Catherine Thomas of Seaford, Del., James Mumford, of Selbyville, Del. and Bennie Edwards, of Milton, Del. Step-father of Doris Reed, of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Charlie Mae Simpson, of Wilmington, Del. Brother of Linda Purnell and Raddie Handy, both of Selbyville, Del. and Willie Waples of Philadelphia, Pa. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 18 nieces, 12 nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services at Immanuel Church of God in Christ, 4th & Regis Ave., New Castle, Del. on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 5 at 1 o'clock. Interment at Riverview Cemetery immediately following services. Friends may call at the Church on Tuesday from 12 to 1. Arrangements by the CONGO FUNERAL HOME, 201 N,. Gray Ave., Wilmington, Del.
