Everett S. Hutchins

Everett S. Hutchins, 67, of 35 Rose Lane, Rosegate, died Wednesday in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Elsmere, after a short illness.

Mr. Hutchins retired three years ago after 17 years with the U.S. Postal Service, where he was a custodian. He was music director and organist at Mt. Joy United Methodist Church for 14 years.

He is survived by his wife, Edna; a stepson, David Deshields of New Castle; a brother, Phillip of Wilmington; two sisters, Vera Tiller and Rosetta Hope, both of Wilmington, and four grandchildren.

Services will be tomorrow morning at 11 at Mt. Joy United Methodist Church, 455 Townsend St., where the viewing will be an hour earlier. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
