Mrs. Martha Irene Mobley, of Ranburne, Alabama, passed away on January 22, 2013. She was 95.
Mrs. Mobley was born on February 19, 1917 to the late Lonnie and Emma Shaw Anderson. She was employed at BBI as a seamstress.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Mobley.
Survivors include her children Charles Mobley, David and Barbara Mobley, Judy and Roger Hand, Danny and Kim Mobley; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Irene Mobley will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. (Alabama Time) at Pine Hill Christian Church with Pastor Scot Akin, Pastor David Screws and Pastor Adam Peeler officiating. Pallbearers include Tony Mobley, Tracy Mobley, Terrell Mobley, Tyler Mobley, Todd Ayers, Toby Ayers, Clayton Mobley and Jason Mobley. Internment will follow at the church cemetery. She will lie in state from 1:00 (Alabama time) until the funeral hour.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. (Georgia Time).
