Mrs Ida Barger Feltner Green born Aug. 7, 1923 died Tuesday April 15, 2008 in Franklin, North Carolina at the age of 84 years, 8 months & 8 days. She was born in Alberta, Canada & moved to Oneida, KY with her parents Robert & Ebbie Barger. Ida was a member of Grace Baptist Church & she loved to quilt.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Feltner who died in 1954 and two sisters, Etta Deaton, Lula Barger & brothers, Ed, Ted, & Dewey Barger.
Ida is survived by her husband of 11 years: Silas Green; one sister: Meadie Deaton; one brother: Irvin Barger; eight children: Hazel Rickman, Meadie Stewart & Charles Feltner, Robert "Frank" Feltner, Paul Feltner & Rosetta Gilbert, Mary Lee and Paul Edward Feltner; three step children: Dorothy Wilkes & Jim Green & Florence Bulla. Twenty two grandchildren, forty one great grandchildren, twenty two great great grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews & friends also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs Ida Barger Feltner Green were conducted at 12:00 P.M. Friday, April 18, 2008 at the Brutus Baptist Church in Brutus, KY, which is located in Clay Co. KY. Burial was in the Haystack Cemetery at Brutus.
