He and his wife had 6 children, 3 of whom grew to adulthood, Mary, Henry and Sutton. The other three children, Sadie and two unnamed babies were buried in the family plot at Providence Presbyterian Church. W.S. made his living at farming and at the end of his life was supt. of Morrison Farm. He died September 28, 1929 of Angina Pectoris and was buried on September 29, 1929 in the Providence cemetery.
Notes: In the 1900 census he and his wife were listed as having been married 2 years and having a child (which would have been Sadie), but no child was listed in the census with them.
