GLORIA GREENE JOLLY, 67 beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away at home on Saturday, September 2, 2000 following a lengthy illness.
She was a native of Jacksonville and an active member of Murray Hill Baptist Church. Gloria had retired in 1993 from CSX Railroad. Throughout her life she has been an inspiration of strength, optimism, and faith for all who knew her.
Preceded in death by her brother, Vernon Greene.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Milton M. Jolly; sons, Michael and Mark; sisters, June Ponsell and Ruth Washington; and grandchildren, amber, Stephanie, and Brandon.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 6, 2000 in the Chapel of HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME. 729 S. Edgewood Ave. with Rev. Jay Stuckey officiating.
Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park.
