Helen B. Ankrom, 82, of RD 1, Middlebourne, died Monday, Jan. 12, 1998 at home. She was a member of Lazear's Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband William E. Ankrom in 1982.; her parents Albert and Rosa Hawkins Harter; three brothers, four sisters. Surviving are five sons, Oliver Thomas of Sistersville, Frank, Brady, John and Roger all of Middlebourne; three daughters, Mary Foor of Magnolia, Ohio; Nellie Wilson and Betty Haught both of Middlebourne; a brother, Louis Harter of Canton; three sisters, Geneva Posten of Akron, Dora Conner of Mineral Wells, WV and Garnett Conklin of Sistersville.
