On Dec. 30, 1823 he married Sarah "Sallie" Snyder. Their children were Elihu, Sarah "Sallie", Taylor, Mary Jane, Theodocia M. "Docia", William, Thomas III, & one name unknown.
After his wife's death abt. 1852, Thomas married Judith Scott. Their children were James W. & Lucy.
Thomas & family lived on a large farm, site of this cemetery. The brick house near Meador Creek was built in 1825, the red bricks being made in kilns by slave labour on the farm. The house burned down about 1942.
