Miss Lizzie E. Ask was born sixty-three years ago, the daughter of Thomas and Carrie Ask. She was born on the old Ask homestead in Preston township. She was one of fourteen children. Both her parents and all brothers and sisters have preceded her in death.
She lived on the old homestead until 1914, when she moved to Lanesboro. She resided here at her home in Brooklyn until the first of this year when she was taken to the Ah-Gwah-Ching Sanatorium at Walker, Minn., where she passed away on November 12, 1937. She had never married.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, November 17, from the Thompson Funeral Home and from the Elstad Lutheran church, Rev. N. S. Magelssen officiated and interment was made at the cemetery at Elstad.
