J.B., born at Lubbock, Tx. on the 5th of Feb., 1921. He passed away Jan. 1, 1989 at Veteran's Hospital in OKC. He retired from the Air Force in 1966, after 25 years service, and took a civil service job at Tinker AFB. He was an active Mason at Del City Lodge No. 536, where he served as Worshipful Master during 1971. He was Worthy Patron for the Eastern Star. During his term, he initiated a number of programs that helped to promote his lodge to grow. He was a Senior Demolay and served as Chairm an of the Masonic Services Assn. J.B. was a 32nd Degree Mason. He was invested with the Knight Commander Court of Honor in 1975 and served as secretary of K.C.C.H. Degree Team. He was also a member of Scottish Rite 14th Degree Team. He was a member of th e Masonic Degree Team from India Temple Shrine and past Captain of the Nomad Unit. Mr. Stratton was a V.A. Hospital volunteer for Masonic Services Assn. from 1983 to 1988. Survived by his wife, Donnie of the home; a son, Joe Stratton of Ca.; a daughter, Summer Simonton of Ca.; 2 sisters, Juanita Hopper and Johnia Everett, both of Texas; 3 grandchildren, Jason and Janell Stratton and Todd Papst, all of Ca.Son of John Wesley Stratton.
