Satterwhite, for fifty-three years a resident of Lufkin, died at his home Thursday of a heart attack. He was head of the Satterwhite Commercial College. Years ago he was county school superintendent.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Dexter Satterwhite of Lufkin; daughter, Mrs. Mary Oneita Witliff [sic Wittliff] of Lufkin; two brothers, T. B. Satterwhite of Dallas and Ben T. Satterwhite of Houston; sister, Mrs. R. J. Spence of Crockett, and four grandchildren.

Gravesite Details
Mr. Satterwhite's death certificate indicates that he was buried in Hillcrest Cemetery. However, he is buried in Odd Fellows Cemetery which adjoins Hillcrest.
