He was born in Montgomery County on September 21, 1875, a son of James H. and Cornelia Van Tassell Beebe. He came here when a child and has since lived in Cleveland. Until twenty years ago he owned and operated the Globe Hotel here, and has since been engaged in the real estate business.
On October 24, 1894, he married Miss Flora B Grow of this village. Mr. Beebe was a member of St. James' Episcopal Church and was formerly a member of the Cleveland Lodge of Maccabees.
Surviving are his widow and a nephew, James H. Beebe of Syracuse.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 30 p m in St. James' Church and interment was in Cleveland.
