Funeral Tuesday Afternoon, From Pennville Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sarah Ellen Overla, Pennville resident died Saturday night at rhe home of Mrs. Harry Swigert of Bryant. She had been bedfast for the past three years.
The deceased was a daughter of Samuel and Nancy (Gripps) Stump. She had spent 47 years of her life in Jay County and had resided at Pennville for 16 years.
She was united in marriage to James Overla, who preceeded her in death in 1936. The following children survive: Mrs. Iva Richey, Albany: Herman Overla of Bluffton: Mrs. Viola Shaneyfelt of Pennville: Russell Overla of Dunkirk: Raymond Overla, of Pennville: and Mrs. Daisy Swygart, of Bryant, at whose house she died. She is also is survived by 26 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The body was removed to the home at Pennville for preparation, and where it wlll remain. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home.
Funeral servics will be conducted from the Polhemus chapel Tusday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Rev. Lee Tyndall will officiate. Internent will be in the in the Mason cemetery at Pennville.
