ANNA CARBON
(1864 - 1945)

Mrs. Joseph Carbon, 82, nee Anna Peroutka, died Monday afternoon at the home near Branch, following a short illness.

She was born in Bohemia in 1863 and when a child accompanied her parents to this county. In 1883 she was married to Joseph Carbon in this city, where the couple resided for six years and then moved to Branch where Mr. Carbon operated a blacksmith shop until his death 11 years ago.

Survivors are six sons, Joseph, Jr., William and John of Branch, Edward and Clarence of this city, George of West Bend; six daughters, Elizabeth of Branch, Mrs. Thomas Kodelka of Cato, Mrs. Mary Tventen, Mrs. Charles Cizek, Mrs. Ray Napieczinski of this city, Mrs. Edward Schroeder of Appleton; brother, Joseph of this city; 34 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home with interment in the Branch Evergreen cemetery.

The body may be viewed after Wednesday noon at the funeral home.

Anna was the wife of Joseph Carbon and the mother of 12 children; Joseph Jr, Elizabeth K., Annie, Mary, George, Edmund, John, Julia, Blanche, William, John, and Clarence Peter.
They were married January 23, 1883.
She lived to the age of 79.
