GOODLAND — The funeral for
Josie A. Cotter, 79, Goodland, was
Wednesday at the Koons Chapel, 211
N. Main, Goodland, 67735, Dr. Tom
Schneider officiating. Burial was in
Goodland Cemetery.
Mrs. Cotter died Sunday, May 30,
1993, at the Northwest Kansas Regional
Medical Center, Goodland.
She was born Josie A. Goings on
Dec. 14, 1913, on a farm in Sherman
County. She worked as a nurse's aide
at the Good Samaritan Center and
Golden West Skills Center. She was a
member of the First United Methodist
Church, United Methodist
Women, Homebuilders Sunday
School Class and Lincoln Larks Extension
Unit, all of Goodland.
She was preceded in death by her
husband, James Edward, and a
daughter, Donna.
Survivors include five grandchildren,
including C.T. Lindley Jr.
and Sid Lindley, both of Goodland.
