William Isaac Brooks was born Thursday, October 26, 1893 to Luther Lucas Brooks and Emma Frances Roberts Brooks. ~ On Wednesday, July 1, 1964, age 70, he married Emma Ethel Lawson Timmerman, age 70, a daughter of Lemuel L. Lawson and Juliette Hart Lawson. ~ William Brooks

A funeral for William Isaac Brooks, 75, of 3203 8th Ave. SW,who died at his home, will be at I p.m. Thursday at Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service directing.

Mr. Brooks was formerly of Columbus, Ga. and a resident of Huntsville for the past four years.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ethel Brooks; three daughters, Mrs. Emma Lockhart, and Mrs. J. W. Webster, both of Anaheim, Calif., and Mrs. Marcus Johnson of Columbus, Ga.; a step-son, Bunny Irvin of Huntsville; six sisters, and a brother,

Pallbearers will be James Arthur, Wilbourn Artis, Larry Clark, Cecil Brady, Everett Lively, and James Boswell.
