MRS. ANNA PICKEL DIES
Mrs. Anna Ellen Pickel, 70, former resident of the Illiopolis community died at 4:45 p.m. Saturday at her home in Springfield. She had been a resident of Springfield for the last six years and was a member of the Christian Church.
Surviving are her husband, William G.; four sons: Bennie, Cleveland, O.; Charles, Hillsboro; and Clifford and Dean, both of Springfield; Three daughters: Mrs. Clara Canaday of Niantic; Mrs. Marie Lowery, Columbia, Mo.; and Mrs. Jane Canaday of Moweaqua; two sisters, Mrs. Ora Reeves, Kansas City, Kan., and Mrs. Minnie Hector, Kansas City, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted in the Illiopolis christian Church by Rev. Mr. Sealock at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday with burial in Riverside Cemetery.
