ALTON ALBERT FAULKNER, 100, of Eureka Springs, was born March 4, 1908. in Eagle Rock, Mo., a son of George and Mary (Easley) Faulkner. He died Monday, Sept. 1, 2008.
He is survived by one son, Harley Faulkner of Eureka Springs; one sister, Emma Deal of Cassville, Mo.; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his first wife, Leona Runyan, of Republic, Mo.; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Mr. Faulkner was preceded in death by his parents, one infant son, three brothers, one sister, his first wife, Kathern and his second wife, Marie.
Memorial services were Thursday morning, Sept. 4, at the Nelson's Chapel of the Springs in Eureka Springs with the Rev. John Burton officiating. Interment followed in the Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service, Inc.
