Jasper Ward, age 77, of RR 4 Brownsburg, passed away Wednesday, August 11, at Hendricks County Hospital. His wife is deceased, but he is survived by ten children. They are: Mrs. Arden Van Blair, Mrs. Gussie Alexander, Allen Ward, Ted Ward and Linton Ward, all of Brownsburg; Mrs. Ruth Martin of Indianapolis; Mrs. Doris Jensen of Alaska; Mrs. Nancy Clossey of Plainfield; James Ward and Albert Ward, both of Indianapolis. There are also three brothers and one sister surviving: Thomas Ward of Lebanon, Callie Ward of Florida, Leslie Ward of Brownsburg, and Mrs. Mollie Noe of Indianapolis. He also had 29 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Ward was a member of the Brownsburg Church of Christ. Services were held there August 13 at 2 pm with burial held at the Brownsburg Cemetery. Rev Vick McCormick officiated. Arrangements were made by Jones and Matthews Mortuary.
