He loved watching western movies, gardening, and playing dominoes with his friends and family on the ranch. He and his wife are members of the First Baptist Church in Fernley, NV.
Edgar is survived by his wife, Veda Russell of Wadsworth; his daughter, Patty (Gene) Collier of Salem, OR; his step-daughter, Patricia (Patrick) Olmstead of Fernley, NV; his brother, A.G. (Jean) Russell of Dallas, TX; sister, Imajean Scott; six grand- children and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Obey Russell who passed away in Oklahoma in 2004; sons, James and Roger Russell; grandson, Roger Warner Russell; seven brothers and one sister.
A Funeral will be held Friday, September 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Walton's Sparks Funeral Homes located at 1745 Sullivan Lane, Sparks, NV 89431. A private family graveside service will take place at the Wellston Cemetery in Wellston, OK.
