Mary Marcelean Breedlove Horner (1844-1924) was the daughter of Sarah Sally Ellis 1815 -1880 and Spencer Breedlove 1809-1880

Mary and her husband James Polk Horner moved from Ava, Missouri to Tahlequah, Oklahoma abt 1889. They made the long journey in covered wagons. Mary's husband James Polk Horner is buried in Blue Springs Cemetery in Peggs Oklahoma.

Her grandchildren include Anna Parris Horner 1902-? She was the daughter of Cale B. Horner and Minnie May Parris Horner. Anna's mother, Minnie, passed away when she was a baby and it appears from census reports that Mary may have assisted with raising her granddaughter Anna. The Horner sons worked in the oil fields of Oklahoma. Mary passed away in a tragic house fire in 1924. Cemetery markers give a brief description of the family history. Great grandchildren include Anna Horner Bruner's children; Billy Bruner, Bonnie Bruner, Adaline Bruner 1934-1937, Joann Bruner 1935 -1978, and Bunnie Bruner 1939-.
