Martina Howard Myers, 81, years old, of Logansport, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, March 7, 2021, with her family by her side, at Chase Center.

Born May 21, 1939, in Twelve Mile, she was the daughter of the late George and Letha (Ulerick) Smith. She was a 1957 graduate of Twelve Mile High School.

On March 21, 1957, she was married to Jack D. Howard, who preceded her in death on January 6, 1989. Her marriage on June 9, 2000, in Logansport, was to Richard Myers, who survives.

A homemaker, Martina was blessed with the love and laughter of a large family. She loved to cook and looked forward to family gatherings. Martina was a perfectionist when it came to wallpapering and she enjoyed all types of crafts.

Surviving with her husband of twenty years, Richard Myers, are her children: Michael (Ginny) Howard and Jeffery (Melanee) Howard, all of Logansport, Jennifer (Chris) Haisley, of Newburgh; Matthew (Tiffany) Howard, and Mitchell (Jill) Howard, all of Lebanon; her step-children, Thomas (Suzan) Myers, Brenda (David) Camarata, Christopher (Janet) Myers, and Lisa (George)Bittles; two sisters, Phyllis Wicker and Roseanna Scott; eleven grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren;, five great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Marjorie Henson, and one brother, Karl Smith.

A Funeral Service celebrating Martina's life will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Jeff Timmons officiating.

Friends will be received from 4 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral chapel.

A family graveside service will take place on Wednesday in the Spring Creek Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Martina's memory to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
