Amelia R. (Lileikis) Pucilauskas, 91, of the Cherry Valley section of Leicester, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, at Notre Dame Long Term Care Center in Worcester, after a brief illness. She was the wife of John A. Pucilauskas, who died in 1993.

She leaves a daughter, Amelia L. Koziak and her husband Richard of Leicester; two grandchildren, David R. Koziak and Amelia D. Klunk and two great grandchildren, Alexander A. and Adrianna R. Klunk all of Leicester; nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son, John P. Pucilauskas of San Francisco in 2001 and her brother, Vytantas Lileikis. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Walter and Amelia (Budvitis) Lileikis. She was very proud of her Lithuanian heritage. She graduated from Leicester High School in 1935 and later the Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing in 1957. She enjoyed music and playing the piano, knitting, crochet and gardening. Mrs. Pucilauskas was a Licensed Practical Nurse at the former Worcester County Hospital in Boylston and previously at Hahnemann Hospital in Worcester before retiring.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13 from the MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 759 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. A calling hour will precede the service from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leicester Food Pantry, c/o St. Joseph's Church, 759 Main St., Leicester, 01524.
