Former Homestead Employee Cafeteria Manager Dies At Age 88
Annie Virginia Waugh Jenkins, 88, of Bacova, Virginia passed away Saturday, May 30, 2020 at the Brian Center Rehabilitation & Nursing Care.

She was born September 24, 1931 at Minnehaha Springs, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Lonnie Waugh and Matilda Brown Rucker Waugh.

She was married to the late Robert Eugene Jenkins, who preceded her in death on March 7, 1997.

Mrs. Jenkins retired from the Homestead Resort where she was the Employee Cafeteria Manager.

She was a loving wife and aunt who enjoyed flowers and gardening. She was an animal lover and a great cook.

She is survived by a special nephew and caregiver, Bobby Burns of Bacova, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.

A graveside service will be held, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the Mountain Grove Cemetery with Pastor David George officiating.

The McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home, Hot Springs, is in charge of arrangements.
