She was born to Eliah and Ida Mae Lucas November 29, 1916.
One of seven children she grew up on Ramp Creek and graduated from Smithville High School.
She was a wonderful woman who was always aware of God's beauty around her. To her everything was wonderful and exciting. One fall day she said to her daughter Sally, "Oh look, the leaves are running away from the wind". That was mom, always having her own special way of seeing things, a woman of strong Christian faith.
A Remarkable person.
She is survived by Glen Langley, her husband of seventy-two years; 7 children, Ladonna Hanna (Ron), Ron Langley (Marilyn), Tom Langley (Karen), Charles "Precious" Langley (Cheryl), Glenda Davis (Larry), Sally Matney (Dave), Glen "Rockie" Langley (Denise); 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Laverne Sowders.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, three sisters and one grandson, Brad Kerr.
The funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Allen Funeral Home with pastor Jimmy Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery.
