Michael Shawn Staggs, 20, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008.

Michael was a Tennessee fan and bowler at Tri-State and Holiday Bowl. He received his ring for bowling a 300 game from Fort Lanes in Fort Oglethorpe. Michael was employed at NTB, a member of The Rush Fitness Center and was of the Protestant faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Martin Staggs.

Survivors include his mother, Debra Staggs; brother, Jeffrey Staggs; fiancee', Michelle Wills; uncle, Larry (Brenda) Jacobs, Battle Creek, Mich.; aunt, Marilyn Pierce, Kalamazoo, Mich. and special friends, Kenneth Tipton, Mark and Janet Bedwell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Phil Wooten officiating.

Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Memorial Hospital, CCU Unit staff, Dr. Martin and Dr. Allen for their love, care and support.
