Eliza was born in Kentucky and died in Morganfield, Union County, Kentucky. She married Daniel Boone Lewis, Sr. about 1836 in (probably) Jefferson County, Kentucky. They had nine children: Mary Agnes, William Henry, Benjamin Franklin, Adaline, Mary Ellen, John S.C. (Connelly), James W.T., Mollie Agnes and Daniel Boone Lewis, Jr.

Elizabeth W.D. (Eliza) Tyler Lewis is buried here along with her husband, Daniel Boone Lewis, Sr.; a son, William Henry and daughter, Mary Ellen.

Note: Some researchers think her maiden name was HENRY, not TYLER. If anyone knows which maiden name is correct and how it has been proven, please let me know and I willl make any needed corrections in her bio.
