Charlie W. Wyrick, 94, of Newbern, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired farmer, U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Main Street Church of Christ in Newbern.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Mac Daniels officiating. Burial will be in McCorkle Cemetery in Newbern.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include four daughters, Jean Croskery and husband, J.R., Faye Fulkerson and husband, Paul, and Martha Sellers, all of Dyersburg, and Doannie Robertson and husband, David, of Ridgely; a son, Jimmy Wyrick and wife, Brenda, of Newbern; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lela Nelson Wyrick; two sons, Billy Wyrick and Johnny Wyrick; his parents, Nathiel W. and Fannie Mae Wyrick; two sisters, Louella Wyrick and Elizabeth Crowell; a brother, Dan Wyrick; and a great-grandson, Curtis Windle.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Brice, Dale Snow, Brian Hatch, Roy Adams, Tony Kolwyck, Kenneth Jackson, Corey Windle and Tim Windle.

Elizabeth Crowell, 89, of Newbern, died Monday, March 3, 2008, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Kenton chapel of Leitherland Funeral Home with Brother Perry Grills officiating. Burial will be in McCorkle Cemetery in Newbern.
Survivors include three daughters, Helen Roberson of Kenton, Lucille Frazier of Newbern and Carolyn Crowell of McKenzie; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Crowell; a son, Marvin Crowell; and her parents, Nathaniel and Fannie Wyrick.

Curtis Reed Windle, 22, of Newbern, died Saturday, March 8, 2008 at his residence.
He was a maintenance operator for Jimmy Dean Foods.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Steve Walker officiating.
The family will receive visitors at 4:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Cameron Elaine Windle of Newbern; his parents, Tim and Lisa Windle of Newbern; a sister, Candace Beth Windle of Newbern; a brother, Cory Lee Windle of Newbern; his grandparents, Paul and Faye Fulkerson of Dyersburg; his great-grandfather, Charlie Wyrick of Newbern; and a special aunt and uncle, Ricky and Amanda Carroll.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lillian and Frank Rogers and Andrew Ray Windle.
Pallbearers will be Cory Lee Windle, Ricky Carroll, Ray Windle, David Windle, Mike Windle, Shannon Windle and Jamie Hill.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to the Cameron Elaine Windle Benefit Account, c/o any branch of First Citizens National Bank.
