Isabel Schreckengost Mauk, 47 of Indiana, died Thursday, Mar. 20, 1997 at home.
Mrs. Mauk was born April 1949 in Putneyville, the daughter of Joseph "Toby" and Mary M. (Neal) Schreckengost. She married Russell L. Mauk on July 12, 1964.
A homemaker and beautician she was a member of the Graystone Presbyterian Church of Indiana, Order of Eastern Star, Order of Amaranth Queen Christina Cort 123 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She was a bowler and volleyball and ladies softball player.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Russell L. Mauk; three children: Russell A. Mauk of Brooksville, Fla., Mary Jo Mauk Tampa, Fla., and Alex R. Mauk Cocoa Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren; her mother, Mary Schreckengost of North Tonawanda, N.Y.; five brothers: Eugene
Schreckengost of St. Louis, Mo., Merle Schreckengost of North Tonawanda, Paul Schreckengost of North Tonawanda, Roger Schreckengost of North Tonawanda, and Ray L. Schreckengost of North Tonawanda; and two sisters: Mrs. Gary (Donna) Boyd of North Tonawanda, and Mrs. William (Toby Lynn) Mitchell of North Tonawanda.
She was preceded in death by a son. Tony L. Schreckengost in 1969; her father and a sister, Josephine Fisher.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Bence-Mihalcik Funeral Home of Indiana.
The family has suggested memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 879 Hospital Rd., Indiana, Pa. 15701.
