He was predeceased by his wife, Victoria P. Johnson Branch. Surviving are his son, Jeremy D. Branch of Eatontown; a stepson, Leo P. Johnson and his wife Debra M. of Asbury Park; a stepdaughter, Marlena Johnson Spencer and her husband Ray L. of Eatontown; a brother, Ernest Branch of Boston, Mass.; two sisters, Elizabeth Nuckles of Philadelphia, Pa., and Gloria J. Gray of Arlington, Va.; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until the funeral service at noon at Braun Funeral Home, 106 Broad St., Eatontown. The services will be officiated by the Rev. Thomas Johnson and the Rev. Ernest Branch. Interment will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24 at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
