Julia M. Blanchard
JULIA M. BLANCHARD Julia was born in Iowa on September 7, 1918 and passed away in Cathedral City on September 5, 2008, just two days before her 90th birthday. Julia moved to California in 1946. After WWII she met and married her beloved husband, Rudy, they were married for almost 61 years. Julia and Rudy had two children, Julie Kathleen and Robert Wayne. Julia retired from the Anaheim Union High School District in the early 1980's. She and Rudy moved to Sun Lakes in Banning in 1988. Julia was active in the Sun Lakes Golf Club and the Birdies and Bogies Square Dance Club. Julia's gleeful chuckle when kidded or teased will be missed very much. In addition to her loving husband and children, Julia leaves behind her son-in-law, Eldon, daughter-in-law Julie and her brother Joseph, as well as many sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. A Rosary and Vigil will be held at Weaver Mortuary in Beaumont on Tuesday, September 9 from 6-7pm. Julia's funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am on Wednesday at Blessed Kateri Catholic Church in Beaumont. A celebratory memorial will be held at The Lakes immediately following mass. Interment will be at 2pm at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside on Wednesday. Arrangements handled by: WEAVER MORTUARY Beaumont, CA (951) 845-1141
